Typographic Field Guide: Family-Friendly Dog Breeds

For this project, I designed a hand-illustrated field guide entirely in InDesign, using only letterforms, numbers, glyphs, and punctuation to create every illustration. I focused on family-friendly dog breeds, drawing inspiration from personal photos of family and friends’ dogs.

Each illustration used a different font family, allowing me to explore the unique personality and possibilities of each typeface. The project took over 20 hours to complete, combining meticulous design with playful storytelling.
